Mody School conducted an engaging orientation session on Model United Nations (MUN) for students of Grades 8 to 12 on April 9, 2025. The session was led by MUN Coordinator Ms. Nidhi Rajpoot and her team, with the objective of introducing students to the world of MUN and its real-world relevance.
Students were familiarized with the structure and purpose of MUN conferences, including delegate roles, committee formats, and the importance of research, diplomacy, and collaboration. The session emphasized how MUN helps develop essential skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, and global awareness.
A key highlight of the orientation was the announcement of Mody School’s own MUN conference, scheduled for July 2025. The students responded with enthusiasm, expressing keen interest in participating and preparing for this exciting opportunity.
The orientation successfully laid the groundwork for student engagement in global affairs and diplomacy through MUN, inspiring a new wave of confident, informed young delegates.
