Mody School Students visit to New Parliament Hon’ble Vice president of India Invited Mody Girls’ to visit the New Parliament on 3rd November 2023. Eight students along with their escort teacher Madam Divya seth visited the Parliament Building and Samvidhan Bhawan. The students started with the New Parliament building and got an insight of its beautiful architecture, interior and depiction of various cultural symbols of India. They also understood about the conduct of the parliamentary proceedings. The students had an individual interactive session with the Vice President in the Parliament auditorium where he addressed about the women’s reservation bill, importance of women education and repercussions of paper leaking and cheatings in the higher examination. Later they visited the Samvidhan Bhawan where they witnessed the struggle for independence in all its physical glory. Both the buildings helped the students understand the significance of their traditional routes and modern outlooks. The visit was concluded with the group photograph captured with all the officials present at the Parliament house. The experience was an unforgettable and enlightening one for our girls.
