La Martiniere College, Lucknow recently organised an All-India Hindi Literary Fest including various events such as Extempore, Debate Competition and Poem Recitation from 4th-6th October, 2021.
36 schools from all over India participated in the literary fest. It was a proud moment for Mody School students to secure the second position in the fest and bagged the first runner up status.
Ms. Ayushi Soni from class 12 secured the 2nd prize in the Extempore. Keeping up the prestige of Mody School high, Ms. Jeevika Sharma and Ms. Aditi Soni from class 12 also secured the second prize in the debate competition defeating the other 36 schools by qualifying 4 rounds. Vrinda Lahoti of class 12 also gave a commendable performance in the Poem Recitation Competition. Overall it was a very enriching experience for our girls.
Our students proved that “A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.”
Our School students were a tough challenge for some of the renowned schools like La Martiniere College, Lucknow, Welham Boys School, Dehradun, Scindia School for Girls, Gwalior, The Bishop Co-Ed School, Pune, Delhi Public International School, Saket, Delhi, City Montessori School, Lucknow, The Doon School for Boys, Dehradun, La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata, Mayo College, Ajmer.
