Mody School celebrated the nation’s 78th Independence Day with great pride and enthusiasm. Dr. Anil Saroliya, Dean Academics, Mody University graced the occasion as the chief guest for this momentous event. Principal Mody School madam Charu Sharma received the chief guest and all revered dignitaries with honour.
The pious day commenced with the hoisting of the Indian flag by the revered chief guest along with Principal Mody School, Ms. Charu Sharma and the other honourable dignitaries from various domains of the institute. The singing of the national anthem filled each heart with a sense of commitment and devotion to the service of the motherland.
The students of the institute had put up a wonderful show that included an array of activities that comprised of perfectly coordinated parade by the four houses of the school, horse riders, pipe band, brass band and NCC. The synchronized parade was followed by a wonderful cultural program.
The event drew to its close with the blessings showered wholeheartedly by the Chief guest Dr. Anil Saroliya through his inspiring speech.
The March past competition was announced at the end wherein Kasturba house stood first and the second position was grabbed by Leelawati house. Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Samriddhi Joshi, Sports captain, Mody School.
