The students of Mody School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti to honour and respect the legacy they left behind.Students shed light on Gandhi Ji and Shastri Ji’s invaluable contribution to India’s freedom struggle and how their principles of truth and non-violence are still remembered today. A devotional ambiance prevailed as the special assembly started with the Gayatri Mantra and Mahamantra. The energizing and mesmerizing performances included a popular hymn, speeches on both the great leaders, a song, a poem, a skit depicting the journey of the life of Gandhiji, quiz, and this splendid celebration was also marked by graceful dances. We finally concluded the celebration with the reviews of Principal Mody School Ms Charu Sharma who addressed the students to follow the values of Gandhiji and Shastri ji in their lives and to always choose the path of truthfulness, honesty, and cleanliness. At the end of the program, all the students, and teachers under the guidance of respected Principal Ma’am were asked to take the Swachh Bharat oath, and the action for the same was taken in school by our beloved students who participated in cleaning the school and its surroundings. The program ended with the National song.
