Mody School conducted Inter House English One Act Play competition on 4th and 5th of August at Swami Haridas Sabhaghar. Scripts of all the four plays were well set out, with appropriate stage directions and wonderful props.
Gargi’s production of ‘I never saw another butterfly ‘ captured all the horror of a world where love cannot be counted on and where life is nasty, brutish and appallingly short.
Kasturbians presented a spoof of the Christmas Carol, ‘Ebony Scrooge’ by D.M.Larson.
All the characters were well -drawn in the play, taught children that money cannot buy happiness.
Leelawati House presented the play ‘Atrocious Pixie ‘- a tale of courage and revenge and bliss of true love.
Sarojini House enacted the play ‘Drop dead Juliet’ which was highly entertaining.
The plays were amalgam of hard work and good chemistry among children. And lights and background music contributed to the shows’s mood.
