Let’s salute the Nation on this auspicious day.
Mody School, Lakshmangarh celebrated the 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm on 15th August, 2023. The ceremony started at 9:00 am near the flag post in front of GVC building, to commemorate the sovereignty of our nation. Principal, Mody School Mrs. Charu Sharma along with the special guests Dr. Rajiv Mathur, Director Mody University and DR. N.K. Maheshwari Dean Administration unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the national anthem.
The event commenced with a fabulous display of March past by the students, which was appreciated by everyone. The students performed a heart touching patriotic song complemented by harmonious tunes of the keyboard, this was followed by the much awaited dance performance. Ms. Noor Bansal and Ms. Apoorva Singh, students of class XII, enlightened everyone with importance of being united. Both the speakers exhorted the students to follow the ideals of the great people. The winning team in the March past was Kasturba house and the second runner up prize went to Sarojini house.
The celebration culminated with the blessing from Director, Mody University Dr. Rajiv Mathur and the vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Nimrat Kaur, head girl of Mody School.
